Quality management (QM) – with the introduction of DIN EN ISO 9000 ff this term received a completely new meaning – for us as well!
We worked to meet this challenge, and as a service centre for stainless steel processing we implemented a quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. For us it was a logical consequence to describe our QM system in a QM manual. Together with the Technical Inspection Authority (German: TÜV CERT) a first time certification was done on 14.04.2001.
We stay accountable through periodic inspections, carried out annually through the auditors of TÜV-CERT.
In summer 2005 the management decided in a future-oriented decision to commence the first steps towards the development and additional implementation of an environmental management system according to ISO 14001:2004. After completion of the action needed, the implementation of all needed requirements for ISO 14001:2004 was tested through TÜV-CERT in the scope of a re-audit of DIN EN ISO 9001 in March 2007.
Following the successful testing of both systems, the auditors recommended the issuing of the certificates. The successful completion resulted in the award of the corresponding certificates: Certificate-register-No.: 01 100 006286 for the quality management system Certificate-register-No.: 01 104 079630 for the environment management system. Period of validity: until April 2010 The last scheduled inspection of both systems was done in March 2008.
When talking about quality we do not just refer to product quality, but understand this to be applied to our service as a whole. For us to invest in quality is to invest in the future. An attractive working environment, modern technical equipment, highly productive assets and skilled personnel are the basis of our quality management. We fulfil your requirements with future-oriented slitting technology, up-to-date control mechanisms for tolerance monitoring, and computer based tool assembly through patented robots, thus ensuring a continuously high quality in material slitting.
Our efficient software enables each employee to give information at any time – starting with the availability of primary material through information about dispatch. The adequate laboratory equipment with a spectral analysis unit, a 100 KN tensile testing machine, a Hommel-roughness measurement testing unit, as well as a stereo microscope, supports us in the material testing and issuing of testing documentation for first sample test reports according to VDA and PPAP.
